About the Author
Hello. My name is Andy Ostrander.  As a former Director of the Southwestern US with a major exchange organization, I saw first hand the incredible stories of exchange students and how even just the little things, become so memorable to those they have touched.  I will share many of my own experiences as an exchange student as well at the beginning of the book.  In particular, I think something unique that few ever mention is the idea of Reverse Culture shock (more to come on that).  I've seen some students sent home and I've seen some full of tears when their year was up.  Each student leaves a footprint behind of the year they've had.  It is exciting to me that they take that back home, leaving the world forever changed ......... at least in their eyes.
